information on intellectual property law
The UK Intellectual Property Office (A UK government body) provides useful introductory information
on intellectual property law issues, such as what is IP? or Get IP Protection and Managing your IP. The site can be found
here.
For each of the main types of IP (patents, copyright and designs) the UK IPO provide outlines of the law and practice. For patents, designs and trade marks, there is information and forms etc regarding making applications for registration.
The main UK legislation concerning these forms of intellectual property are (with links to updated versions of the legislation)

- copyright (the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988)
