How it works

Here are some examples of in-house services that we provide:

  • A long-term (but flexible) secondment of one of our lawyers to work several days per week from a client’s offices. (Joint recruitment by the client and by Anderson & Company.)
  • The firm acts as Company Secretary to several clients.
  • With one of our major clients, we make a regular weekly visit to their offices.
  • We have annual retainer arrangements with several clients.

Every situation is different and we are happy to discuss any arrangement.

Benefits

Long-term secondments can be mutually advantageous:

  • The client benefits from having an in-house lawyer on the premises.
  • The client and the secondee benefit from having access to the resources and experience of Anderson & Company.
  • Our representative is not isolated from other lawyers (usually these appointments are as sole in-house lawyer). Anderson & Company provides career development and training, and provides the secondee with broader legal experience than if he/she worked solely for the client.
  • Anderson & Company benefits from having a closer relationship with the client.

If you would like to discuss whether any of the above arrangements might be suitable for your organisation, please contact Mark Anderson.
